Monica Albers is a social media specialist at Static Media in Indianapolis, Ind., who has helped grow the social media presence of multiple online publishing brands including Mashed, House Digest and /Film.
Monica’s pivot into social media follows six years in local news. She most recently produced evening and nightly newscasts for FOX59 in Indianapolis, after getting her start in TV at KDLT in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Monica first followed her passion for storytelling in the Chicago area as a freelance reporter for the SouthtownStar and the Post-Tribune, and continued writing as a contributor to 605 Magazine during her time in Sioux Falls.
